1. About H-One Arts

H-One Arts offers flame-free scented candles, wickless candle refills, handmade Jesmonite vessels, natural marble home décor, acrylic keepsakes, and related gift products.

Our wickless scented candles and wax refills are designed for home fragrance and decorative use only. They are intended to be used with a compatible top-down electric candle warmer, unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

Our wickless candles do not contain a wick and are not intended to be lit, burned, or used as traditional flame candles.

2. Use of Website

This website is intended for personal shopping, product information, and non-commercial use. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, exploit, or misuse any portion of this website, including product photos, text, designs, branding, or website content, without our express written permission.

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that may damage, disable, or interfere with the operation of the site.

4. Product Safety Disclaimer

Please read all product descriptions, safety instructions, labels, and insert cards before using any H-One Arts product.

By purchasing or using our products, you understand and agree that scented wax, melted wax, heated vessels, candle warmers, fragrance oils, Jesmonite, natural stone, acrylic, glass, and other home décor materials may require careful handling.

You agree to use all products responsibly and only as directed.

5. Wickless Candle & Wax Refill Safety

H-One Arts wickless candles and wax refills are designed for use with a compatible top-down electric candle warmer only.

For wickless candles and wax refills:

  • Do not light, burn, or ignite the wax.
  • Do not add a wick.
  • Do not use with an open flame.
  • Do not use on a stovetop, in an oven, in a microwave, on a hot plate, or with any direct heat source other than a compatible top-down electric candle warmer.
  • Do not leave a candle warmer unattended while in use.
  • Keep away from children, pets, curtains, paper, fabric, furniture, bedding, clothing, and other flammable materials.
  • Always place the candle and warmer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not move the vessel while the wax is melted or hot.
  • Do not touch hot wax, a hot vessel, or a heated warmer surface.
  • Do not add water, oils, botanicals, crystals, matches, wick materials, or foreign objects into the wax.
  • Do not overheat the wax or use the product longer than recommended by the candle warmer manufacturer.
  • Do not pour melted wax into a sink, toilet, drain, or plumbing system.
  • Allow the wax and vessel to cool completely before handling, cleaning, moving, or replacing.
  • Discontinue use immediately if the vessel cracks, overheats, leaks, chips, or becomes unstable.
  • Follow all instructions, warnings, and safety guidelines provided by the manufacturer of your candle warmer.

Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in burns, fire, smoke, melted wax spills, property damage, personal injury, or other harm.

6. Candle Warmer Responsibility

Unless expressly stated otherwise, candle warmers are not manufactured by H-One Arts.

Customers are responsible for selecting a compatible, safe, and properly functioning top-down electric candle warmer and for following the candle warmer manufacturer’s instructions.

H-One Arts is not responsible for damage, injury, malfunction, overheating, fire, electrical issues, or other problems caused by a third-party candle warmer, improper warmer use, incompatible equipment, unsafe placement, or failure to follow the warmer manufacturer’s directions.

7. Traditional Candle Warning, If Applicable

Most H-One Arts scented candles are wickless and must not be lit or burned.

If a product is specifically sold by H-One Arts as a traditional candle with a wick, you must follow standard candle safety practices, including never leaving a burning candle unattended, keeping it away from children, pets, and flammable materials, placing it on a stable heat-resistant surface, and discontinuing use when only approximately 1 cm of wax remains.

This section applies only to products that are clearly sold as traditional burning candles with a wick.

8. Jesmonite Jar Care

Some H-One Arts vessels are handmade from Jesmonite. Jesmonite jars are decorative and should be handled with care.

  • Handle carefully to avoid chips, cracks, scratches, or breakage.
  • Do not drop the vessel.
  • Do not submerge in water.
  • Do not expose to prolonged moisture.
  • Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth only.
  • Do not place in the dishwasher.
  • Do not use if the jar becomes cracked, chipped, unstable, or damaged.

Because Jesmonite products are handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, pattern, air bubbles, and finish may occur. These variations are part of the handmade character of the product and are not considered defects unless they affect safe use.

9. Natural Marble & Home Décor Disclaimer

Some H-One Arts products are made with natural marble or stone. Natural variations in veining, colour, pattern, texture, and finish may occur.

Natural stone may be heavy, delicate, or breakable. Please handle with care and place on a stable surface. H-One Arts is not responsible for damage caused by dropping, impact, improper handling, misuse, or unstable placement.

10. Acrylic Keepsake Disclaimer

Acrylic keepsakes and plaques are decorative items only. They are not toys and should be kept away from young children unless supervised by an adult.

Acrylic products may scratch, crack, or break if dropped, bent, exposed to excessive force, or cleaned with harsh chemicals. Please handle with care and clean only as recommended.

11. Allergies & Sensitivities

Our scented products contain wax blends, fragrance oils, and other materials that may cause reactions in sensitive individuals.

Please discontinue use immediately if you experience headache, dizziness, nausea, breathing discomfort, skin irritation, allergic reaction, or any other sensitivity.

Our products are not food, medicine, cosmetics, or therapeutic products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

Keep all wax and fragrance products away from children and pets. Do not ingest. Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and mouth.

12. Customer Responsibility

By purchasing or using our products, you agree that you are responsible for:

  • Reading all product descriptions before purchase.
  • Reading and following all product safety instructions.
  • Using the product only for its intended purpose.
  • Supervising the product while in use.
  • Keeping products away from children, pets, and vulnerable individuals.
  • Using compatible equipment and safe surfaces.
  • Inspecting the product before each use.
  • Stopping use immediately if the product appears damaged, unsafe, unstable, cracked, overheated, leaking, or defective.

You agree not to misuse, alter, modify, burn, overheat, melt by unauthorized methods, or use any H-One Arts product in a way that is inconsistent with our instructions.

13. Assumption of Risk

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge that improper use of candles, wax products, candle warmers, heated vessels, fragrance products, Jesmonite vessels, marble décor, acrylic keepsakes, or related products may involve risks.

These risks may include, but are not limited to, burns, melted wax spills, fire, smoke, allergic reaction, fragrance sensitivity, property damage, breakage, cuts, or personal injury.

You agree to assume responsibility for risks resulting from misuse, improper handling, failure to follow instructions, use with incompatible equipment, unsafe placement, lack of supervision, or use contrary to the product’s intended purpose.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, H-One Arts, its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your access to this website or from the purchase, use, misuse, inability to use, or improper handling of our products.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to fire, burns, melted wax, fragrance sensitivity, allergic reaction, property damage, lost profits, loss of use, emotional distress, third-party equipment failure, or improper use of candle warmers, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, H-One Arts’ total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any liability, warranty, condition, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or limited under applicable law.

15. Product Information

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. However, colours, sizes, shapes, textures, patterns, finishes, and scent experiences may vary slightly due to lighting, screen settings, handmade production, natural materials, batch differences, room size, warmer type, temperature, airflow, and personal fragrance sensitivity.

Product descriptions, scent notes, usage suggestions, and photos are provided for general information only.

16. Third-Party Products and Links

Our website may refer to or link to third-party products, websites, tools, accessories, or candle warmers. H-One Arts is not responsible for the quality, safety, performance, content, policies, or practices of third-party products or websites.

Use of any third-party product is at the customer’s own discretion and risk.

17. Orders, Shipping, Returns & Damaged Products

Order, shipping, refund, exchange, and cancellation policies are provided separately on our website and form part of these Terms.

Please review all product details carefully before placing an order. Due to the handmade, scented, customized, or personal nature of some products, certain items may be final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective, subject to applicable law.

If your product arrives damaged or appears defective, please stop using it immediately and contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include your order number, photos of the product, photos of the packaging, and a description of the issue.

Do not continue using any product that appears cracked, broken, leaking, unstable, overheated, or unsafe.

18. No Professional Advice

Information on our website, packaging, product listings, or social media is provided for general informational purposes only. It should not be considered professional, medical, legal, safety, or technical advice.

Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for their intended use, household, warmer, space, pets, children, and personal sensitivities.
